Harris County Home Repair
The Harris County Home Repair program provides financial assistance to qualified homeowners for repairs. You must be 62 years or older or have someone with a documented disability in the home at the time of application. Home repairs include roof repair/replacement, handicap accessibility improvements, mechanical, electrical, weatherization and plumbing improvements, as well as water wells or septic tank repair or replacement. To apply, call a Resource Navigator at (832) 927-4955.

FLY A FLAG ON SPECIAL OCCASSIONS
Some may have noticed their Norchester neighbors with flags out around certain occasions. Flags With Pride is a fundraising project of the Cypress Creek Athletic Booster Club. The flags are put out for a week for the following commemorative events:
• VETERANS DAY
• PRESIDENTS’ DAY
• MEMORIAL DAY
• INDEPENDENCE DAY
• LABOR DAY
• PATRIOT DAY
The Booster Club provides the flags in their program. They are placed in your yard at the beginning of the appropriate period, and then picked up at the end. The flags are kept offsite when not on display. This is done on a yearly subscription basis. The cost is $41 per year.
